useafter1125DiscoverooDiscoveroo is an Australian company which creates educational toys and games to promote creative play in children. Their toys are all natural and simple made from selected manufacturers in Asia. I try to purchase eco-friendly toys as much as possible for my children so I was very happy to review some of Discoveroo products.

Windmill Stackeroo I received the Windmill Stackeroo and my children really enjoyed playing with this toy. This toy is eighteen centimeters and is made of some great and bright colors. It also has two holes to help teach children about three dimensional objects. This is such a great variation on the classic ring stacker. My absolute favorite feature of this toy is that the middle rod is held together by elastic string eliminating any chance of children getting hurt by it. There are seven rings and the top ring spins like a windmill which is adorable. My son stacked the rings very easily and he helped my daughter with it. He also helped her with learning the colors by calling out each color name as they added it to the stacker.

Fruit music setI also received the Fruit Music Set. My daughter loves anything that has to do with dancing or music so she was super excited to play with this.

This set of percussion instruments include:

  • Apple Xylophone
  • Lemon Maraca
  • Lime and Melon Castanet
  • Pear Guiro

This is an awesome set of instruments to help stimulate creative thinking. The instruments are very durable and so nicely crafted using great colors. There are so many things you can focus on teaching your children with this, such as, colors, the different types of fruit, instruments sounds, and taking turns. My two older children can definitely use a lesson every once in awhile to remind and encourage them to take turns. Thankfully, my daughter really liked the Lime and Melon Castanet and my son favored the Apple Xylophone. There is an instrument for everyone!

You can purchase your own Discoveroo toys on their website. The Windmill Stackeroo is $20 and the Fruit Music Set is $40.
