Being green and organic is very important in this world today and thankfully a lot of companies are headed in that direction. If you’re looking for an amazing doll for your daughter, Zeenie Dollz has exactly what you need. These awesome dolls are made from recyclable materials and each individual has their own job protection the environment. Zennia, the doll that I chose to review, is Mother of Earth. Her story is to:
“Protect our planet, save the Earth and it’s creatures from the anti-environment villains.”
She comes with an eco-bracelet, a brush (which is in the shape of a tree, how cool is that?!) and an eco-warrior membership card. Zeenie Dollz were created thanks to some sketches which quickly moved into the idea coming off of the paper into the form of the eco-warriors to fight the evil anti-environment villains. They are each unique in their style of fashion as well as their missions to save the Earth and protect the planet.
My daughter is only two so I made sure to watch her when she plays with the doll. The packaging does suggest that the minimum age is six years, however I did not see that on the site when I requested the doll. Thankfully there aren’t any small parts, other than the brush, that can be a hazard. I made sure to take the brush away until she’s old enough to use it. She has other dolls but this one is definitely unique and she played with it very well. The hands twist and move in all directions as well as the feet which are both made of a rubber type of material and not a solid plastic like the rest of the doll.
My daughter did play with it for about an hour and figured out that the hands moved. Within that hour she came running into me holding the hands of the doll that had torn off of the limbs. I played with the hands before she first got a hold of the doll and they seemed very sturdy, so I’m sure she was playing with them pretty rough to have them pull off. It’s a very well made doll that is definitely not meant for a toddler to get a hold of and rough house with. However she still plays with the doll without the hands attached and it’s still in one piece. The rest of the doll is gorgeous. From the multi-colored hair that my daughter brushes from time to time to the dress that she wears even the shoes. Zennia is a gorgeous doll for any girl to have and I would even get more for my daughter when she’s a little older. Which means I may as well just collect all of the eco-warriors!
