I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dunkin’ Donuts. I received a Dunkin’ Donuts Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I cannot start my morning without coffee. I’m typically a 6 cupper but occasionally will drink iced coffee throughout the day or if I have the money, I’ll make a trip to the local coffee shop for something more exotic. (And for some peace and quiet too!) I was excited to be selected to try Dunkin’ Donuts new line of coffee flavors and to host my very own breakfast party too!
What do you think? Do those flavors look yummy or would you keep walking?
Dunkin’ Donuts sent me all three of the above flavors, Coconut, Triple Berry, and Strawberry Shortcake as well as party bags for my guests that included a tumbler for iced coffee! I could drink iced coffee all day and recently found a great creamer for iced coffee that gives it enough sweetness, so I don’t have to add sugar.
We decided to do brunch so we could enjoy both iced and hot coffee and compare the differences in flavor. I wanted to see if anyone liked a particular flavor hot rather than cold and vice versa. Call it my own scientific experiment. For our brunch we served omelets, monkey bread, bacon, sausage, and fresh fruit including a really yummy watermelon that was surprisingly good for this time of year.

Mmmm Monkey Bread!
I had brewed a pot of each flavor earlier in the day and let them cool then brewed fresh pots that were piping hot and fresh for all of us to enjoy. I discreetly poured a cup of each flavor then handed them to our guests so they could try them one at a time. First up was Coconut. It smelled good and my husband immediately knew what it was (since he despises coconut). He did try it though and didn’t spit it out! Everyone though Coconut was a great flavor to have with a morning donut or put with just a splash of milk. It was my favorite out of the three for hot coffee. Everyone liked it for cold coffee as well, especially if it had cream and sugar added to it.
Next we tried Strawberry Shortcake and I was a little surprised by this flavor. My mom loved it hot but I enjoyed it iced with a splash of cream. I’m not a fan of sweet coffees but I thought it added a bit of a twist that I could get use too. My friend Tonya loved it with the fresh fruit we had but enjoyed it more iced since she’s not a hot coffee drinker. In fact, we both agreed it would make a great frappuccino and the next time we get together the blenders will be out! Everyone agreed this flavor made a great iced coffee and a great dessert coffee, except mom who really loved this flavor hot.
Last up was Triple Berry. This flavor probably rated last on the flavor scale but was a good dessert coffee with cheesecake or chocolate lava cake since we could taste the raspberry. I am not a raspberry fan, probably one of the few women who do not enjoy chocolate and raspberries together! And while I didn’t find the flavor offensive it was not my favorite. Again, my mom really liked this flavor hot while surprisingly my husband enjoyed it cold.
You can enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts Spring flavors for a limited time by buying them at your local store!
