It isn’t often I bring home a new game or toy that I haven’t heard of, but this was the case for Drone Home. As soon as I opened the box and pulled it out, however, my kids all started jumping for joy and demanding we play it immediately. It is rare that excitement happens unless it is a video game these days, and I was very shocked by their reaction. Having seen the ad on television they were pumped and super excited to try it out.
Assembly was a breeze (just make sure you have AAA batteries on hand!!!) Also, note that you need to charge the drone with the usb line provided for 10 minutes prior to playing!! The game is simple and even my three year old could join in on the fun. You put your little alien on the launch pad, shoot, and hope it makes it into the drone. For if it does your alien will soar in the air to safety, and you get a point. The first person to have all of their aliens lifted to safety wins!
Here are some mama tips that made this game even more enjoyable! The drone goes higher than I was expecting. We moved from the table to the floor and found that it was perfect! They played over and over again squealing in laughter each time the drone took off.
This is easy for most ages, fun and enjoyable game. It keeps the kiddo’s attention for a long time, and they have loved playing it over and over. Drone Home is for sure a win in the gift department!
