With a new little one on the way, due this April, I started a list of some of some items that are a must have in my opinion. One of the very first things added to that list….pacifiers. Both of my two older children used them, and they were blessing. I Was thrilled when Difrax offered to have me share a feature of their Ortho Pacifier. After looking over three of the pacifier sizes Difrax offers, 0-6months, 6+months, and 18+ month, I will be very happy to use these with our new little guy.

Difrax is a trusted and popular Dutch company that has developed their line of pacifiers through a collaboration with medical experts, and it shows in the well thought out design. Every part of the pacifier has a specific purpose. They have 5 stages of pacifiers available, from preemie to 18+. In each stage the silicon nipple and shield both are changed, and I love how you can choose the perfect Difrax pacifier for your little one’s exact stage of development.

One of my favorite changes about the Difrax Ortho Pacifier’s is the 18+ pacifier takes into account that you will need to wean your toddler off their pacifier. This stage’s pacifier has been designed with a solid nipple to help with that issue. The very design will encourage your child to break the habit!

Here are a few of the key features of the Difrax Ortho Pacifier-

  • BPA Free and Meets CPSC Safety Requirements
  • Nipple is flat on one side to aid in development of the palate and muscles of jaw and mouth
  • holes in shield aid in air circulation (reduces the risk of skin irritation)
  • unique butterfly shape keeps the nose clear

Make sure to check out the other products available from Difrax including the Classic Pacifier, with a rounded nipple, and coming soon the S Bottle in two styles.

(Difrax Has Pacifiers For All Stages of Development!) My daughter-in-law had a couple of these for my grandson. He liked them a lot too. But the paci is a thing of the past now.

That is awesome that they make a pacifer for 18 month + to help wean off of it. Great idea!
