Her expression when I said we could make slime! Priceless.

Goosebumps 2 will be available on Digital via the Movies Anywhere app December 25th and Blu-ray & DVD January 15th. For the release, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Haribo sent us a box of movie-related projects for a fun viewing party.  Read the synopsis below then check out our adventure making edible gummy bear slime!

Be careful what you wish for. With their after school junk business, best friends Sonny and Sam hope to find treasure in other people’s trash. But when cleaning out the old Stine house, they open a locked book that frees a supernatural nightmare- Slappy! Now, with the help of Sonny’s sister Sarah, they’re in a race against time to get the sinister dummy and all the creatures he’s brought to life back into the pages before he unleashes total pandemonium!

Each kit came with fun recipes and crafts which included mocktails, watching gummy bears grow, and of course slime. These kids of mine have been begging me to make slime forever and as you can see my slime free days came to an end yesterday but the kids had fun making the Goosebumps Gummy Bear slime.

I’ve been a slime-free house until we were sent a Goosebumps 2 challenge kit which meant we were invaded by gummy bears! I’m not sure why I have slimephobia but the kids had fun and did the challenge all by themselves. They are pretty handy in the kitchen but some kids may need help with the microwave.

Oh the dreaded slime. We have found some great recipes and ones that are just too sticky and ruin things. Haha
This one at least looks worth trying. It’s worth trying everything at least once, right?!
