Who doesn’t love shoes? Especially when you can interchange the top? Whether you want a slip on shoe or one that ties up you can change it over and over again with Zipz shoes. The colors and styles are attractive also. These shoes are comfortable to wear and the zipper doesn’t even feel as though it’s there. So why not go crazy and get a leopard print or the adorable argyle that I got for myself, pictured above?
How Zipz was created:
The idea of Zipz was all started at a BBQ where Jerry Stefani and his family thought up the idea of interchangeable shoes. To solve the problem of mothers who had to constantly buy all kinds of shoes for their children. They had to be changed many times because they would get dirty, or just to change them. So the family sat down and thought up a way to figure out how to change the tops of shoes to make it easier. Thus they thought up Zipz! They even thought of using velcro and other ideas until it came to Jerry one night that zippers was the key to these sneakers. Zipz went through many different processes after that and now they’ve come to what you see in my photos. I’m excited to share these with you, as well as the unique story to how they came to be! Plus they only use YKK™ zippers and fastening systems, which provides the durability and strength that these shoes have.
I’ve never heard of shoes zipping off so you can change the top, so when I received these of course I was fascinated with changing it back and forth. I was sent the leopard slip ons to change over to. It’s very easy to change the tops. The zipper pulls around and you hook it just like you would with a jacket or any other zipper. The pink argyle with shoe laces were easy to slip on, however the other pair was difficult when I had a pair of socks on. Instead, I put them on bare foot and they were just as comfortable with socks on as they were off. Talk about a blast from the past! I have never worn sneakers that were easily noticeable as these ones. They match very easily with a couple of my outfits and make me feel young again. Nothing wrong with that, especially being a mother of one right?

I think the idea of interchangeable tops for shoes is quite unique. I wonder how long the zipper fastening will last though. I wasn’t able to pull up any other styles on their page but from what you’ve shown I love the pink argyle. And being a mom I think it’s fun to find something cute and fun to brighten up our days and make us feel good about ourselves. 🙂
