Earth Day is coming up next weekend. Do you do anything special with your children or families? I remember as a student, for Earth and Arbor Day celebrations, bringing home a sapling and asking my parents to plant it. I knew that planting a tree could help our planet. Today when I go to my childhood home to visit my parents, I see a couple decades old pine trees and can’t help but smile. If you would like to help educate your children about this great planet of ours, but without the long term tree commitment, may I suggest checking out some amazing toys from Learning Resources.
If you are looking for some fun toys to keep your kiddos engaged all the while helping them learn, check these out!

I wanted to make sure blog owners are aware of what stupid thing Twitter is now up to. Because I enter dozens & dozens of these blog giveaways, they have decided my account is a “bot”. They have locked me out of my account 3 times in the last 2 weeks!! They are saying every time I use one of these apps to authorize an entry I am breaking their tos!! I know, it is bulls##t!! So sadly, I really cannot follow anyone new by using the apps, I can’t retweet using the apps on the entries. It is driving me crazy! I did one entire week of ONLY using the entry apps in order to just rt and still that week the same. Locked me out & it takes days to get it going again. It is so frustrating. I hate twitter, So now every giveaway I enter I just have to ignore all the twitter entries! Which means I am never going to win anything again. Thanks for letting me vent this!! I’m sure it will be happening to others soon enough.
