We love the holidays and for us it’s a time of year we get to dress up a little. Being a jeans and t-shirt family, we really don’t go that many places where the kids wear their best attire or get fancy but we casually dress up for school functions and holiday parties. It makes life easy and Famous Footwear has helped make our casual holiday this year.
Since I’ve been sick, my husband came home with two styles from Famous Footwear for the older kids. He was so excited to show them his purchases, he reminded me of a kid on Christmas morning. He bought the Kids’ Nine West Sookie Girl Riding Boot for Miss C and was she ever surprised. She had boots like grandma now and she couldn’t wait to show her.

Our oldest son received Perry Ellis Kids’ Chukka Boot in Chase. I was really surprised my husband bought these for him. I was sure he’d end up with sneakers or some shoe that lights up. Imagine my surprise when Big C declared he like them and said these were his go-to shoes now!
Going to see Santa at our son’s school was a perfect time for our kids to casually dress up. Next year my daughter said she wanted to wear a Christmas dress that was handed down to her so it may not be such a casual Christmas next year!
