Grandma’s Caramel Popcorn

This is a recipe that my grandmother and my mother have been making for years, it’s a family favorite and is gone in no time!
Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white Karo syrup
  • 2 cubes butter
  • dash salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • popcorn
Instructions
  1. Pop popcorn, I use 3 batches of microwave popcorn (no butter!)
  2. Bring brown sugar, Karo, butter & dash of salt to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add soda and beat.
  4. Pour on popcorn & mix.
  5. Spread on 2 cookie sheets.
  6. Bake for 1 hour at 200 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Cool and enjoy!
