BubbleBum was started by Safekids USA Certified CPST Grainne Kelly who wanted to create a portable and lightweight booster seat since it is so important that children use one. BubbleBum’s can be used as a spare booster seat in second car, for travel or so many other ways. This is the winner of many awards including The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval.
BubbleBum is for ages four to eleven or forty to one hundred pounds. It is great for travel because it is extremely light weight and even comes with a carrying bag. The unique feature of this booster seat and also what makes it so lightweight is it is inflatable and foldable. When it is not in use you simply fold it up and keep it stored in the bag. To use the BubbleBum, you must first inflate it and then it is very easy to use. This is great to use on the go and inflates in less than twenty seconds. I had my husband inflate this (by mouth) and he said it was very simple.
I tried this seat out with my four year old son in my husbands car, however, it is suitable for all vehicles fitted with a three point seat belt. My son was so excited to try out this booster seat. It fits really well in the car and has an added belt positioning clip for extra comfort. My son said while he was using the seat it was very comfortable. Also, after use I noticed it did not deflate at all. My son thinks he is a big boy now and wants to use this booster seat all the time.
This is definitely a great product to keep with a grandmother or to use while you are traveling. You can purchase your own BubbleBum in either black or purple for $40.

Great idea and price. My grandkids live far away and going to get them you have to have car seats, but I don’t need them very often. An inflatable, portable one like this would be very handy.
