Do you dread turning the oven on in the summer but need a quick meal for the kids? Uhg. I know I do. I tend to leave the air off and the windows open as long as I possibly can. What better item to have in your kitchen than a nice toaster oven that you just plug in and make pizzas or a quick dinner for your family? Mmm ..pizza bagels or English muffins anyone?
If you have a child going off to college in the Fall they would LOVE a toaster oven. I’m sure you know college kids get the munchies late at night. Not only will this save them money but you’ll also be able to send them fun ideas to try in their toaster oven.
The only downfall to a toaster oven is that it’s bulky as you can see it takes up a lot of room on my counter. However, I’ll use it a lot during the hotter months so I think it’s a good tradeoff. Especially when there are so many kids in the neighborhood that I’m sure cookies and milk or a quick hot sandwich will be a cinch. Or in the morning you can make cinnamon toast without turning on your oven (as you can see in the picture below)
As you can see below, my daughter is anxiously awaiting her toast! This toaster oven is nice because it has two burners on top that you can cook on to make multiple meals. Having a summer camp out in your backyard but no campfire? Quickly make hot chocolate and S’mores at the same time! I’m really not sure how much food I can mention in one post…can you tell I’m pregnant??
