You know how you misunderstand words in songs, and then start singing the song incorrectly? Please tell me it isn’t just me! How about when you finally hear the correct word? It’s like a whole new song. That totally happened to me while I was listening with my kids to the new Kidz Bop 27 CD!
I love that the Kidz Bop line of music is songs appropriate for children and sung by children as well. There is just something so crisp about the way in which these children artists sing. So much so, they helped me realize I was singing lyrics wrong! Haha.
Have you ever had an impromptu dance party on your bed? Well, after you start listening to Kidz Bop 27, you will. Both kids had a blast singing, dancing and bouncing along. Lucky for you all, I couldn’t get pictures of myself joining in.
One of my favorite things about these CD’s is that they are the hits played on the radio on the popular stations. It’s so much better than listening to lullabies and nursery rhymes all the time. Also, they update and keep creating new CD’s, so the music always seems fresh. In fact, they release two albums a year! Some of the great songs on this album are: Shake It Off, Cool Kids, Maps, Boom Clap and many more!
You want to know something else squeal worthy in our house? There is a Kidz Bop Kids LIVE Tour. My daughter would adore going to see and hear some of the kids she’s “gotten to know” with her CD’s. Now to try to convince a theater near us to schedule it!
Kidz Bop also creates special CD’s for the holidays. Purchase their Valentine’s CD through Scholastic Books or Amazon. I know your children will enjoy the new 27th CD as much as mine have!
I’m sure lots of people mess up lyrics 🙂 They even have lyric-based TV shows that are pretty amusing.
I enjoy watching Disney and the Radio Disney Music Awards with my daughter. Some of the songs are pretty catchy and have good messages. I love Shake it Off. I’ve watched the original video as well as others lip-synching and dancing to it.
My youngest kid loves to sing and dance, he would love something like this. He will even do little videos online too. 😀

I bet there are lots of songs I’m singing the wrong lyrics too. That would be a fun time just seeing what everyone thinks the song says.

My kids has one of their Christmas CD’s and they all really enjoyed listening to it. I’d like to pick them up more now

How fun! I can hear the squeals. Sometimes it’s good to go crazy, sing, and dance….on the bed makes it extra special.

I hate mishearing the words or just not being able to understand the correct word in song. I would love my nieces to give this CD a try. I think they would love it!
Wow crazy that there have been 27 of them, my kids loved them and probably so will my grandkids. Love that there are current songs in them. That would so be me on getting the words wrong!
