After a few weeks of the same grocery shopping and ingredient buying, I find myself falling into a rut. I know Pinterest is there to give me a plethora of ideas, but some seem so grandiose that I steer away from them. I just need a small bit of inspiration and maybe a recipe to help.
I was recently introduced to Mary’s Secret Ingredients. Quarterly, this service sends you some culinary surprises, ingredients and utensils. These culinary surprise boxes, not only are sent to your doorstep, but then you are signed up for their hints, recipes and tricks newsletter. Just before the box ships, the emails help build the suspense of what to expect.
After I received my box, I loved that I received follow up emails with suggestions on how to use my new ingredients. To be honest, there were a few items I had never heard of, let alone cooked with. The recipe emails not only gave you tips, but also ways to use that ingredient in the future. Mary’s Secret Ingredients has definitely helped me branch out while cooking. I loved that the new items were send directly to me. Honestly, if I would have seen some of the items on a grocery shelf, I would have passed by them, not knowing how to incorporate them into a meal. But with the added confidence from Mary’s, I knew I could do it!
For only $25.95, this quarterly box is worth it. The value of products you receive is well over what you pay, it’s amazing to try new items and best of all the extra support from team Mary is the best! And if you need even more ideas, check out Mary’s weekly food blog LOVE- the secret ingredient. From my spring box, what would you like to try?
Connect with Mary’s Secret Ingredients via Facebook and Twitter. Right now you can get 25% off your next box with: LUCKYFOODIE But hurry, the summer box comes out June 25th!
