The Devyn Bag is one of those bags that gives you everything, from being a diaper bag, to a laptop holder, including a nifty insulated cooler in the back part! I was lucky to receive one of the bags for review, and the one I chose was the purple strap with berry interior. Once it arrived, packaged neat and tidy, I couldn’t wait to open it up. The bag has a unique yet simple design flare to it that makes it something that I would, and I’m sure others would as well, take anywhere with me. The design on the strap is very pretty and the fact that it’s not all over the bag makes it unique, and again easy to take anywhere. The flap has velcro at the front of the bag to make for easy opening and it easily flips over to lay against the back of the bag, out of the way.

The fabric of the Devyn Bag is like other laptop bags, not too soft and not too hard, somewhere in the middle. It’s definitely not uncomfortable to carry around, or have against your skin at all. Inside the pretty bag is a front section for diapers, toys, wipes or any necessary items. So far I currently have a couple toys for my daughter, my iPad which is in a case, and the cooling tray for my computer. In the center slot is the area for your laptop. It has a nice divider with some cushion (not a lot but enough) to protect against the compartment with the toys, etc.

The last compartment is an insulated cooler. I have only put a couple small snack items in it as I usually do not carry drinks with me, however it would be perfect for keeping your child’s formula or milk cold. Storing some drinks and snacks in it would be perfect, and of course it has a special padded section with more cushioning against the laptop area. The cooler section has a zipper so it can keep the cool products at the perfect temperature. So far I have only traveled to a family member’s house, or to class and I haven’t needed to keep the items cool for too long, but it definitely keeps the temperature needed for at least 10-15 minutes from what I have experienced. Also in the cooler section are nifty little pockets where you could store a drink or two, or a water bottle.

It’s extremely versatile for whatever you need. If you need it just for a lap top holder with possibly a couple toys or books for class, it can easily be used for that. Or if you’re not even a mother, using it simply for classes is perfect. You could also use it for business, as being in the work force you may have the type of job where you need something nice but not too fancy or not nice enough. This bag goes with anything, like I mentioned above, and has enough space to hold anything you need. I’m very happy with it, and super happy to get rid of my old bag. It definitely didn’t do my laptop justice, and I easily feel more comfortable with my expensive laptop in this bag than the old one!

To make it even better, the sides of the bag have special padding just in case (like myself) you happen to hit it against something, or drop it (heaven forbid!). On the left side it also has a little holder for a water bottle or even your cell phone! The velcro keeps the flap nice and tight so it won’t accidentally flop open. This bag is more than worth getting for yourself, or even a family member. Oh, and the strap that goes over your shoulder? It’s amazing! My old laptop bag, and many others I have tested out, cut into my shoulder a leave red marks. This nice shoulder strap has a thick enough padding and fabric to where it won’t even slide, or cut into your shoulder. The straps are easily adjustable, and even my husband isn’t embarrassed to carry the bag out of the house. In fact, he thinks the bag is awesome, bonus points!
