Are you stressed during the holidays? I think we all are to some extent. We want perfection from dressing our kids in the best outfit for holiday pictures to wrapping our presents with the biggest bows. And I know we all dread trying a new recipe but let’s go out of our comfort zones for a minute. I promise I have the easiest recipe for you. And it’s delish. Bacon wrapped dates. No. Really. Stay with me! Make bacon wrapped figs for a perfect holiday!
I was at a New Year’s Eve party a few years ago (pre-three children) and my friend Brittany hosted an awesome event. Picture it. Drinks (no Shirley Temples for us), Cards Against Humanity – we are THOSE people and food. Lots and lots of awesome food. The one dish that stuck out to me was the bacon wrapped dates. Oh, mah Gawd. They were so good. I’m pretty sure I ate a whole pound of bacon. Seriously. The easiest holiday dish you can make and your guests will thank you. I promise! This holiday season, Tyson® products are inspiring shoppers to try something new for the table, helping transform the functional dishes hosts can make, bring or pass on as a gift.
Wright® Brand Hickory Bacon is the brand I buy all the time at Kroger. The flavor is smoky and melts in your mouth without being too thin. It’s the perfect bacon for wrapping chicken and other foods like dates! This simple dish takes no time at all. Serve them on a holiday plate and let your guests have at them! Tyson® products are the key ingredient to recipes and recipe hacks that can be enjoyed any time of day during the busy holiday season.
Bacon Wrapped Figs
1 package Wright® Brand Hickory Bacon
1 package dried dates
toothpicks
Preheat oven to 375. Cut Wright® bacon into 1/3 pieces. Wrap around a date & stick a toothpick in it. Put them on a baking sheet & bake for 10-15 minutes. Easy peasy!
Make sure you get your Wright® Brand Bacon and other Tyson® products for this holiday season at Kroger!

Even though I am not a fan of dates at all, reading this review and seeing the pictures caught my interest! My husband is a huge fan of bacon 🥓 I have seen him eat a pound or two in one sitting! Maybe I can make these and not tell him what’s inside and see if he likes them! I like trying to find different bacon recipes for him. Pinning! Thank you for sharing!

I stopped to read this review, because I saw bacon in the title. My husband is a bacon fanatic! He can and does eat it wherever and whenever he wants.
I pinned this recipe so I can make it for his birthday in March. I want to surprise him by not telling him that dates are in the middle.
We both don’t like dates. But your review and the pictures have convinced me to at least try it. Thank you for sharing!
