I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Arla Dofino. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Cheese! No I didn’t just take a picture. I’m talking about the food! In our house cheese is its own food group. Between us all, we love about every kind of cheese there is. We were very interested in trying Arla Dofino since we’ve never tried the brand but are happy we did.
Being a mom of three now I am all about easy lunches. With two kids off to school you would think I’d have more time to make a gourmet meal. Not so much! I feel as though I have homework everyday from the teachers and my youngest wants to be held all of the time, not to mention baseball practice and playdates. Whew! Most days we have lunch meat and and crackers or bread with a fruit or veggie.
We were able to try the Arla Dofino cheese in Chipotle Gouda and it was different. My kids like spice but nothing that sets your tongue on fire. The Gouda cheese tasted very smooth and creamy and paired well with the apples and crackers. My husband enjoyed his snack immensely but said that the cheese needed a little more chipotle spiciness. The kids liked putting a small slice of cheese on the apple and taking a bite. They said they were eating healthy since they were also eating the peel and dairy combined.

It’s that time of year again, and what to put in the school lunch. You want to make sure they have enough, get in protein and fruit, but it has to be something they’ll eat too. This is a nice mix for fruit, calcium, and protein. My grandkids would need more though. Hungry during the school day. 🙂

This looks like a great way to get more calcium.

I’m all for healthy lunches for the kids! I like to pack celery and carrot sticks with ranch salad dressing for a dip and even salsa and tortilla chips! You have to mix it up so they don’t get bored with their lunch!
