I personally love hand painted dishes and other housewares. I have been wanting an adorable hand painted set of dishes for my toddler for a while now and I stumbled across Emerson Creek Pottery. Lucky me! Their dishes are so pretty. If I had the chance I would probably fill my cupboards with their dishes. The craftsman work placed into the products they sell including their children’s dish set is just amazing. I am excited to share the set I received with you, the reader! Emerson Creek Pottery provides more than just children’s dishes. They sell kitchenware, teapots, vases, lamps and so much more. It’s worth taking a glance at their inventory. The best part about it? All of their ceramic pottery is hand made in the USA!

The baby dishes they make are:

  • Lead-free
  • Non-Toxic
  • Plastic-free

This set comes with the plate, bowl and a cup. Each painting is individual on the separate pieces. The one unique thing I like about these being hand painted is that the ladybugs are not perfect. You can tell that they are made by hand. I feel as though it was created more personal for my child and not out of a factory. Plus, these are nice sturdy and thick dishes that you can tell are very well made. My daughter has been very careful with them and usually when she’s eating she will point to the ladybug and talk about it. I like the fact that the plate actually gets her talking!

frillybowl

I also received this gorgeous frilly bowl to review. Such a pretty color, and it goes with the theme in my kitchen. Glazed over, soft to the touch. This bowl is very attractive however you use it. They mention delicious ice cream and other kinds of yummy foods. I used it as a decoration on my table although I plan on placing it in my cupboard for future use. These frilly bowls are made in the USA with lead-free clay. Plus you can pop it in the microwave or in the dishwasher if you have one. It’s solid and made very well.

You can purchase the children’s set of dinnerware for $48.00 which includes the bowl, plate and cup. The frilly bowl is available for $13.50.
