A Fun Way For Kids To Transition From Bath To Shower!

I don’t know when it was that bath time went from fun and playful to such a chore in this house. Also my oldest has decided that she is “too old” for baths and thinks she needs to have a shower and half the time asks if she can wait until morning. Ha. My son has gone through a recent transition where he doesn’t like to lay back to rinse his hair after shampoo.

What I needed was a fun product to remind them that it can be a quick yet fun process to tubby or shower! Enter Rubber Duckie and Friends. The offer kid friendly shower heads in adorable and colorful animal designs. I want to introduce you to Duckie, Froggie, Hippie, Dollie and Rickie!

We received Rickie and hubby had him installed within five minutes. There were some pretty great things that we realized with this Rubber Duckie Friend. For one, we mounted the hand shower down lower, so it was easier for my daughter to shower independently and make sure she felt comfortable with the amount of water. Also, since you can hold the wand, my son enjoyed the fact that I could move it to the sides of his head and not make him move.

Rickie the Rhino

With all the great things I am saying about Rickie the Rhino, kids will still be kids. I left my son loose for awhile to wash his body and have a minute of playtime and I came back to water over the shower door and onto the floor. It is easily removed from its suction cup mounts and apparently aims pretty high…. Sigh.
Overall, we love our new addition and I have even found myself using it to rinse my legs while shaving, etc. Rubber Duckie and Friends also offers adorable hooded towels to complement the shower friends.

Bath Time is always fun in our house although sometimes the floor seems to take the brunt with more bubbles and water than there is left in the bath. This will probably be a nice addition to my daughters bathroom!

Even when kids are “too old” for showers they are still kids and water is just too tempting to play in. This is a really cute idea, though.

That’s a great way to get kids from baths to showers and have some fun.
