They specialize in using cotton muslin in their products.  Aden & Anais was started in 2006 by a first time mother, Raegan, who wanted muslin wraps to use with her daughter but none were to be found. This company has now grown into being worldwide.

I received the starstruck organic dream blanket which measures 47″ x 47″ and also comes in a classic version and bamboo version. This blanket is solid white on one side and decorated with stars on the other; lined in a blue border.  I could not believe how soft this blanket feels! It was incredibly comfortable; my daughter cuddled right up with this blanket. It is made of four layers of organic muslin cotton and comes in a variety of patterns. My absolute favorite feature of this blanket is that it gets softer with each wash! This blanket right out of the box is unbelievably soft so I can’t imagine after a couple of runs in the washing machine.

Another great feature of this blanket is that it is breathable, making it great for newborns and babies. This blanket is thick and heavy enough to use during the winter but it’s also light and breathable to be used during the summer. I have been using this blanket as a stroller blanket for my eleven month old and I love that it is long enough and covers her while we are outside going on a walk.

My two year old daughter loves how soft and comfy this blanket feels and enjoys using it during nap time. After seeing how much my children love this blanket, I will definitely be ordering more of these. I am so glad there are other adorable designs available in these blankets.

    Another product I would love to have is the super star scout classic dream blanket. I’ve never had one of the Aden & Anais blankets BUT my sister and firends have them and I can tell you- they are awesome! The open weave and lightweight fabric of muslin helps reduce the risk of baby overheating, while still providing comfort and warmth. And from what I hear, they last forever!
