Welcome to the Best of Summer 2013 Kid Lit giveaway hop hosted by Mother Daughter Book Reviews and Youth Literature Reviews. We have sooo many favorite books here at TKDI and we are so excited to share them with you! We read at least four books every single day and we are at the library a few times a week. We love books and there is something special about turning those pages and smelling those books at the library that I’m glad my kids enjoy! This summer we read a lot of books but a few of our favorites that you can win include:

Room On The Broom– About a Witch who takes several animals, including a cat and a frog, along for a ride. And there’s even a dragon!

I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More!– A fabulous book about a boy who gets in trouble painting himself!

Those Darn Squirrels!– Mr. Fookwire loves his birds but learns to appreciate the squirrels too!

Goodnight, Moon– A classic about bedtime!

Pinkalicious– Even my son loves Pinkalicious! Who doesn’t want to eat all the cupcakes??

Snowmen At Night-What DO the snowmen do at night when we’re asleep?

Calvin and Hobbes: Something Under the Bed is Drooling– Our son is named after Calvin and every day we know we picked the right name!

    I think I would choose snowmen at night for my nephew. We live in WI so we have alot of snow and I think during our long winters he would enjoy a book about snowmen.

    I would choose Goodnight Moon as my copy is getting kind of worm from reading it over and over again, yet my son and daughter still love me to read it for them.

    I like Room On The Broom- She would love it, it’s almost halloween and what a great book for her and her friends to read about. She loves books and this would be a perfect addition to her collection. Thanks for the chance.

    I would choose Goodnight, Moon. I remember reading that book over and over to my children when they were younger. I now have a beautiful grandson son that I would love to continue the tradition.

    I would really like the book about the witches, if you are still offering it; my children love fantasy books. They really love reading about dragons and witches, and magic. We are currently reading Jack Templar, Monster Hunter.
