Mmmm Chocolates! Guylian is Decadent!

Guylian has the most delectable, delicious, melt in your mouth Belgian chocolates that will leave you craving more. They have chocolate bars, and beautiful seahorse and shell shaped chocolates in a gorgeous design. The swirl of vanilla and chocolate mixed on the surface and inside are not just beautiful, they’re eye candy. These little morsels are created with 100% Belgian chocolate and created so perfectly you almost don’t want to eat them they’re so beautiful!

They came to me in a large styrofoam box (obviously to keep them cool), with an large freezer pack to make sure they stayed perfect, of course. As you can see I only have three photos above since I didn’t exactly get the chance to take pictures of the actual seahorse and seashell chocolates. The moment my husband arrived home he was quick to devour what he could get a hold of, same with my toddler. Of course, I was guilty of it myself. I even shared them with my classmates that Wednesday night as well as taking a box or two with me on my trip to Canada over Memorial Day weekend. Let’s just say my week was packed and I didn’t have the chance. Or am I just covering up the fact that we ate them so fast? Maybe. Either way, Guylian’s website has photos of their chocolates and they definitely look pretty much the same, they just taste so much better than being on the computer, honest.

The first one I tried was part of the chocolate bar. As pictured above, it was dripping with mouth watering chocolate flavor from the inside out. True, rich and amazing flavor. These chocolates are amazing, so much so that my eyes might be glazed over just thinking about them. I felt spoiled, actually, I felt like royalty being able to indulge in these pretty chocolates. I almost regretted eating so many in one day, but then I thought about it, ate another one and felt better. The lovely seahorses and seashells had a nice rich texture of hazelnut on the inside that the chocolate just seemed to melt around it, and gave me a craving for more. It was laced with a sweet flavor, not too strong of chocolate but more of a hazelnut taste. It was definitely easy to chew and swallow. I had so many that I ended up sharing a small box of two chocolates to my mother and some of my in-laws.

My husband had them with a cup of coffee and even dipped them in the cup, as he’s addicted to both of them, they went hand in hand. The look on his face was priceless, and the fact that my daughter was acting like a monkey and practically climbing his leg just to get the chocolate that was in his hand was pretty funny too. Sadly I didn’t get the chance to take the photo.

If you have never tried these chocolates, I recommend that you take a chance to browse their website and at least buy a small pack or something. I am so ashamed of myself for never having had these chocolates before, and now that I have it’s almost a necessity to have a box or two in the house constantly. These can be easily enjoyed on a winter day when the snow is falling, and even in the summer time with a nice tall glass of ice tea. These go with almost any snack or even dessert. I did manage to put them in the fridge over night and they tasted so much better when they were cold. Richer in taste, however they tasted just fine when I left them on the counter for a day. Either way, you must try these, even if it’s the last thing you do. Putting them on your bucket list would be good too, just saying.

    I would like to try the no sugar added bars in milk and dark chocolate. I eat regular chocolate but it would be nice to have a no sugar added alternative to lessen my overall sugar intake! Their chocolates all look delicious!
