I have never been a huge fan of lathering myself up with tanning lotion, jumping in a bed or a stand up tanner and waiting for a good 10-15 minutes in the heat and fans for a tan to slowly appear on my body. Not only can it cost a fortune but taking that much time out of my day when I can lather up some tanning cream and have the same result, makes this Famous Dave’s Tanner a better choice.
I was nervous when I first applied the cream, despite it being thick yet creamy to the touch, I was unsure of what my results would be. I was very careful when I applied it, making sure I thoroughly got the spots that I wanted perfect. The piece of paper that came with the tanner gives directions and tells you how many pumps to apply, with arrows pointing to each spot on the body. These directions made it much easier, especially for a first timer.
The first time I applied it I did not use as much, as the directions suggest to apply a little and leave it over night to see the results. I didn’t exactly follow that. I took a quick shower, dried myself off and only put on a half of what the actual directions suggest. (Although it does say for your first time, only apply half, so that I did correctly).

I am a fair skinned person so the product I chose was the Fair Skin & Face Tanner. The above photos were taken in semi-different lighting and the results are not as drastic as it may look but I definitely did tan, however it was not as much as I was expecting. Of course this was a good thing, as it was not as drastic as I was afraid of.
The second time I applied the lotion I made sure to take a shower (six days after I applied the first time), dried myself off and applied it strictly as the directions suggested. This time it was not just a little, it was more of a full pump to two pumps per body part unless otherwise directed such as 1/4 pump. I was not afraid to lather it on, and after I rubbed it in I made sure to wash my hands for 30 seconds, again as directed.

My results were awesome! After applying it the second time I was not nervous, and I knew the results would be noticeable. This time my skin was tanned just a little bit, but enough for what I was used to seeing. The scent itself is not that bad and smells slightly like a regular tanning lotion. I am excited to admit that I will not go back to tanning in a booth or a bed. Dave’s Tanner is exactly what I like and I love showing off my tan!

I’m very fair skinned and I love how your results turned out. Most tanning creams turn out way to dark for me but this seems like it would be perfect for me.
