Oransi Fridge Air Purifer {Review & Sweepstakes}

By: Amanda12 Comments

Oransi
There is always something stinky in our fridge and it seems no matter how often I clean it out or throw away leftovers, the smell remains. It’s just one of those mysteries that unless we bought a new fridge, we’d have to live with. For that reason, I decided to try the Oransi Air Purifier to see if it would work to get rid of our mystery odor.

We received the Oransi Fridge Air Purifier ($29.00) to try and I was a little worried with how small it was. I’m not sure what I was thinking. Of course it needed to be small to fit inside a refrigerator but I was use to one that we had that was a tall tower so in my mind I’d receive one a lot like that. After popping two batteries in we put that baby to work and I think within a few days our fridge smelled fresh. It was quite a turn around from the lingering odor that was there. We can only assume it was from the appliance being used from other tenants since we rent our home.

I must admit after a while of the purifier being in the fridge I had forgotten about it, which is a good thing since it’s hidden. However, there again appeared to be a mystery odor but I wasn’t sure it was coming from the fridge. I looked everywhere and sure enough it was a few pieces of raw chicken gone bad in the bottom crisper. Oh my goodness! That smell was rank but once I cleared it out of the refrigerator it only took about an hour for the odor to completely disappear. I’m sure you know of those odors from spoiled food that linger but honestly the little purifier worked wonders. No, it didn’t catch the smell (thankfully, since festering chicken is never good) but it removed it very quickly when the culprit was gone.

Win an Oransi Fridge Air Purifier of your own! This sweepstakes is open to those in the US 18+ and ends 12/20. The mandatory entry will be to ‘pin’ the picture of the purifier on your Pinterest account! You can also follow Oransi on Facebook and Twitter!

    Onions, they are really a pain if I do not double bag them after cutting them up.

    I don’t have any mystery smells in the fridge but I do in the freezer. I have had ones in the fridge but don’t at the moment.
