Kylie Minogue is known world wide for being an award winning pop icon who is now celebrating 25 years in music with releasing her album, The Abbey Road Sessions. Kylie recorded this in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios which was accompanied by a full orchestra. All 16 classic Kylie songs on the album are entirely revamped and reconstructed.
The album features some of Kylie’s well known hits. A long favorite of mine is her hit “The Locomotion” which my kids and I loved getting up and dancing too. The entire album is amazing, some of my other favorites are “All The Lovers”, “I Believe in You”, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head”, “Love at First Sight” and “Never Too Late”. The orchestral arrangement makes these tracks simply amazing!
Kylie has been celebrating her 25th Anniversary in music during 2012. It has been an exceptional career so far with 60 million global album sales, numerous hit singles and global tours which has made her an authentic superstar.
Kylie is a breast cancer survivor and donates her time to American Cancer Society, as well as amFAR for AIDS research. Another beautiful title (which has become my favorite) that has never been included on an album until now is “Flower”, a song that she wrote in 2007 while she fought her battle with breast cancer. Minogue says “Flower” is “a love song to the child I may or may not ever have.” truly beautiful.
