BOO! Did I scare you? {HalloweenCostumes.com Review and Giveaway}

By: Tonya62 Comments

Halloween is less than a month away and we are getting geared up with spooky decorations, books and the absolute best part…costumes! My five-year-old twins have changed their minds at least a dozen times about what they want to be for Halloween. They both decided they wanted to be something scary (much to my two year olds dismay). While looking at the tons of costumes there were to choose from they had their minds set in no time. Lucas wants to be Swamp Monster and Michael wants to be a Ghost.

Once they picked their costume they wanted to get them as soon as possible. They checked for a package to come in the mail right away even though it was 7:00 pm at night, it was cute that they thought they would arrive in five minutes. Each day they checked for their costumes and the excitement was explosive when they arrived shortly after we ordered them.

The Kids Swamp Monster costume is a green and brown reptile printed jumpsuit that comes with a swamp monster mask and foam swamp monster hands. The Swamp Monster also has green netting on the shoulders and arms to make this costume so incredibly scary and unique. Just like a real swamp creature 🙂 I ordered a small (5-7) for Lucas and it fits perfect!

The Kids Ghost costume is a robe with a separate hood and chains printed on it, a scary mask and to finish off the creepy look it comes with a 3′ plastic chain chain. Michael said the chain print and plastic chain are what made this costume “so cool”. The chain however does not attach to anything like I thought it would, no big deal, we just tossed it around his neck and it looks just as good. I ordered a medium (5-7) for Michael and it fits perfect as well. (Be sure to look at the sizing since they can be different from costume to costume.)

Lucas and Michael both love their costumes so much. Everyday when they get home from school they put their costumes on and go and look in the mirror. They like to leave the costumes on until their “baby” brother wakes up from nap. Max is two and scares easily so the first time he saw Michael and Lucas in their new Swamp Monster and Ghost costumes he ran. Poor little guy. My twins took their masks off and went to show Max that it was just them, Max started laughing and pointed “Youcus” (Lucas), “Michael”. He now thinks their costumes are pretty neat and likes to pretend to be scared, the twins play along. We’ve had so much fun with these costumes and the quality and detail on both of them is great. We will be going to several Halloween/Fall parties this year and no doubt my little Swamp Creature and Ghost are going to spook everybody.

The kids Swamp Monster Costume is $38.99 and the kids Ghost Costume is $16.99 or you can win your own costume valued at $45 or less to HalloweenCostumes.com! Make sure to like the on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter!

Then hop on over to The Mommy Island, read her great review of the Booper and enter to win another costume also valued at $45 or less!

    It’d have to be the one I was in 4th grade. I was so excited because I would get to say a curse word when asked what I was being for Halloween. People would ask me and I would say ” I’m being an asshole for Halloween!” After telling quite a few people, someone said to me “how do you dress as an asshole?” I said “it’s a donkey! I’m being a donkey!” Did I mean jackass? Yes, yes I did!
