I have three kids and I care for a couple more out of my home. When it comes time to eat I love any shortcut I can take. I often have trouble getting my own kids to eat and I try to make their meals fun. FunBites has been such a blast in our house. Everybody loves the bite sized meals and it is so quick and easy which helps me out a TON!

The “cube it!” FunBite cutter is great for just about everything. We cubed toast, pancakes, sandwiches, chicken, fruit, cheese and brownies. The cubes are also the perfect shape for kids that are beginning to eat finger food. What my five year old twins loved the most about cubing their food (especially brownies) was doing math homework at the same time. They were so involved and focused, I never knew cubes of yummy chocolate could do that!

We tried the “Luv it!” which is made of triangles, half circles and hearts. My two-year-old worked on his shapes while he ate. My twins had fun making their food into a puzzle and making different shapes with what they had left. I can’t wait to use this on Valentine’s Day.

FunBites is very easy to use and clean. I found out fast that you have to cut it on a flat surface. Duh, right? I was so excited to try FunBites that I put the sandwich onto a plate and started to cut into it. It cut but not all the way through. I immediately put it on a cutting board and tried again. It is BPA free and dishwasher safe so when you’re finished with the cutters stick it in the dishwasher and you’re done.

My twins asked several times to use the FunBites with their Play-Doh. I don’t see why not so they have had a blast cutting away and building with the cubes. This is a must have for parents with young children because it is great for fine motor skills, they are educational and extremely fun! Jackie Rhoads, the creator Funbites knew what she was doing when she came up with the idea a few years ago for her picky eater!
