You’ve heard me mention it before, but I want less screen time for my kiddos and more active time. Ideally I would love for the two oldest to play nicely together, but I am a realist and know they have separate tastes. When I looked for gifts for my son for Christmas, I wanted not only something that would pique his interest, but also keep it. But when I found Two Bros Bows, I found an activity that is fun and beneficial to children.
Two Bros Bows was created by, you guessed it, two brothers. They created and developed a durable and kid friendly bow and arrow. Duncan and Hayden went from selling their creations at craft shows, to now running a million-dollar business. “Work hard, play hard” is the family’s life motto. The two started making each piece themselves, but now have a team to help with production!
We received a Flame Archery Combo Set. The Combo Set is a great way to get your child started as it includes a bow, 3 matching arrows, a bulls eye and a quiver bag. I appreciate that the set is safe for all ages to learn with. The arrows are soft and foam tipped, covered in cotton. The bow has a comfortable foam grip that is easy on any hand.
Archery has become more widely popular thanks to The Hunger Games, and I am completely ok with it, as there are so many benefits to learning the sport. Practicing archery can improve balance and hand-eye coordination, flexibility, strength building and patience. So far, patience has been our biggest issue to overcome 😉
My son has loved the set, but also, my daughter as well. They play with the set differently, but it is great to watch them try to successfully shoot each arrow. Each shot they get better and better and you can see their confidence soar. This mama is happy!
Please check out Two Bros Bows for yourself. They are a great gift for the kiddos in your life. They are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
