Need a place for everything so you can get everything in it’s place? Spectrum has the products for that! Spectrum specializes in organizing all the little things around your home. Simple products designed to function well so you can stay organized. I’m not kidding when I say our garage was a mess. We don’t have a storage shed and the kids are very outdoorsy and so our garage is a catch all! At least now we’ve conquered some of the storage by hanging mops and brooms from a Spectrum rack. Very easy to hang too.

We love Magformers especially Little C who likes to play with them on the refrigerator while I’m cooking dinner. Win-win for me!  We also have them on the front and garage doors and the kids will occupy themselves while waiting for the bus. Create anything you can imagine by using walls, combining, rolling, folding, pulling and transforming. Read how Miss C uses her imagination with Magformers then enter to win a set!

We always exchange presents and have a big dinner for Christmas. Not a ton of other holiday traditions besides those! 🙂

We have several traditions. We make handmade ornaments so when my girls are older and have their own tree, they will each take the ornaments they made. We also bake a lot. We try a new recipe each year. We love Christmas songs so we usually have them playing on the background while we are busy doing crafts.

Our main tradition is that we pass out the presents and the youngest opens one, then up by age to the oldest, then back to the youngest and on up until everyone is out of presents. That way we get to see everyone open them and it’s not just mass chaos. That’s what we did when I was a kid, then I did it w/ my kids and now we’re doing it w/ my grandkids.

We used to buy/exchange for 46 people but that tradition is gone now. We do not exchange any gifts and it is so much more relaxing. Just decorating and eating yummy goodies, all of the fun stuff. Yikes only 2 days left on this one! I had written on my little notepad that it ended 12/31. What a dummy! 🙂

Ever since I was little and could read I was the present passer outer. When my oldest was little and able to read, I passed that job down to her. Then my youngest daughter and now my oldest grandchild. Another tradition we passed down was that on Christmas Eve, we kids would sleep in mom’s bed, while she was wrapping presents downstairs and she would sleep on the couch. Two great traditions handed down to my daughters and my granddaughters. Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas!!

We do a secret santa exchange among the adults in my family, this way we only buy 1 gift for an adult who probably already has everything they need or want, plus we take the money we would have spent on them and donate to a local charity or family in need.

On Christmas Eve, everyone opens one present (it’s Christmas PJ’s so we all look good for the pictures in the morning) and then the youngest gets to open the family present (or split it between the kids) – That is a new family Christmas movie and snacks to enjoy during the movie.

We love traditions! Every year for Christmas we gather together to make and decorate Christmas cookies, we go to a tree farm to pick out and cut down a Christmas tree together and then we gather for a good family dinner. Christmas Eve, we all open Christmas themed pajamas and a Christmas movie to enjoy together.

Christmas morning blueberry pancakes, lots of bacon, toast and juice and then presents and sledding if the weather is right.
