Coupons, hand-me-downs, cloth diapers and sales items! These have definitely been a huge help for us with both of ours. Kids grow so fast there’s no use in spending loads of money on something that they might outgrow before they can even wear it.

You don’t need a ton of new things. Garage sales and thrift stores are a great way to get good clothing for your baby!

If you have to use formula or prepackaged baby food, go for the store brands. Formula especially meets tons of national standards and are basically the same. We supplemented with formula and found our store brand was almost $8 less per tin and even had a sensitive tummy variety and the same ingredients as the name brand we were using!

My best tip is to make your own baby food. Buy a good food processor and make your own food. You can add the ingredients that you feel are good for your little one and will save a ton of money.

My best money saving tip for babies is use hand me downs if they have older siblings or cousins. Also, using cloth diapers really does save THOUSANDS of dollars, as well as saving the planet at the same time. 🙂
