Summer Blog Challenge Day #64 (August 3)

What helps you get through meltdowns?

Joy-I agree with both of them down there! 😀 I also like to just get out and go to the grocery store or Target and coupon. If it’s the kids I tend to ignore it.

Nik- I don’t have many meltdowns.  I’m pretty laid-back.  I would have to say a good cry up in my room.  That and talking about it.  Between my mom and my sister and good friend, they have heard ALL about it.  If it’s helping my children get through a meltdown, PATIENCE is all that I can say.  If I don’t have the patience, then I will scream and have a meltdown with them!

Tonya- My meltdowns? Or my kids meltdowns? With me, when I melt down I have to talk to Joy, and maybe sometimes take it all out on her . What are best friends for right? Now for the kids, when they have a meltdown I either ignore them or figure out what they are melting down about and calm them and reassure them it will be ok.
