This carseat looks so much safer than the one my Grandson is in now. I just don’t have peace of mind with these flimsy ones. This one is supper nice and looks to be a lot sturdier and safer!!

I’d love to win it because my daughter’s current car seat is getting worn from hard use — the fabric covering is ripped and stained in places — and it’s so expensive to by a new one that’s well-rated.

I bought a car seat from Walmart several months ago, excited that I could keep my two year old rear facing because she is within the weight and height limits. I was happy with this car seat, Safety 1st brand, until it happened. I had the car seat snug and as secure as possible, I always double check before we go anywhere, but we turned a corner a little sharp, nothing major, the groceries didn’t even tip… and my car seat with my toddler in it tilted on its side and lay still buckled up snug but on its side on the seat. My daughter didn’t cry out or anything and it made no sound. Luckily that corner was only several feet from my home because I didn’t notice until I stopped the car and got out and panicked all over the place, but baby was fine. Needless to say, I do not feel safe with this car seat anymore and don’t have the means to purchase another one. It literally haunts my dreams the thought of our car seat leaving the upright position or being so easily turned when it is secure and I have zero peace of mind in the car now. This car seat though, this is the one for us. All those safety features! All the bells and whistles! This is what I need to ride peacefully again. I hope that I win!
