I’m a breastfeeding mama and pretty proud of it. I am happy that the breastfeeding journey has worked out well for my daughter and I. Now that little lady is 10 months I have started getting questioned how long we will go. I pump when I am at work or away from her and still nurse mostly on demand when we’re together. She’s eating more foods now and our special time together is getting further in between. The first month or so of breastfeeding, I basically camped out on my couch, fed the baby when she dictated and having my shirt lifted or a bra unstrapped was not uncommon. However, this far into it, we’re out and about, we have plenty to do, and I can’t just have a plain old tshirt lifted all the time. Although I completely support breastfeeding in public, I personally am not comfortable doing so. So when I am away from home, I have to dress to make sure I can effectively feed my daughter and still keep my dignity intact. I was introduced to Milk Nursingwear and have fallen head over heels for the clothing, as it is fashionable, comfortable and discreet.
I received the Diagonal ruffle nursing top in berry. I just love how bright the color is. I like that it looks dressy enough to wear to the office, but also looks great with jeans. I love the flutter sleeve and the way the diagonal ruffles lay. The design is very forgiving and would be great for every body type. It is oh so soft and machine washable! Milk nursingwear also carries dresses, sleepwear, bras and maternity.
This has become my go to top when I have to run out, or nurse in a group. I even wore this top to my local The Big Latch On Event. I was happy to have the coverage as there were 60 or so of us all outside on the center’s lawn. Another benefit of the Milk nursingwear design is the way my daughter interacts with it. She has never been a fan of being covered with anything (thus why I am uncomfortable to nurse publicly). But with this top, she holds one of the ruffles and plays with it between her fingers and likes that it lightly brushes her cheek, without being heavy.
Here is my daughter nursing while I am wearing my Milk nursing top. Can you barely even tell? Many have thought she is just sleeping and I am cradling her. Like I said, it’s very discreet!

I didn’t realize that the Chuck E Cheese giveaway was an entry by itself on this form and I had already used it for my Enter Another Giveaway entry. I also entered the Perfectly Payton Boutique GC so that one can replace it! 🙂

These tops are really cute. They didn’t have such a thing when I was raising kids.
