How does your life measure up to the vision you had when you were younger?
Joy-Eh. I had no desire to be the girl with kids and staying at home. I wanted kids, sure. Two boys and a girl…because of course I could choose lol. I wanted to travel and become something and I contemplated joing the Peace Corps or Navy. It definitely doesn’t measure up to those visions of when I was younger. But I’m not sure anyone’s does!
Nik- This is a hard one. When I was a little girl, I wanted different things at different times in my childhood. Sometimes I wanted to be a homemaker only with lots of children. Other times I wanted to be a big career woman. There were times that I wanted to be single and other times that I wanted the husband and kids. The only answer is that I am living out the life that I have been dealt. One way or another, the way my life is today is pieces of what I wanted when I was a young girl.
Tonya- Aside from being extreamly overweight and broke. My life is perfect and exactly what I imagined it would be. I always wanted to be a wife and mother. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
