When was the last time you ‘roughed’ it?
Joy-LOL I’m reading my sister’s post below and I’m like really? That’s not camping that’s just renting a cabin. I’ve never really ‘roughed’ it. In Sept. 08 we didn’t have power for over a week and I was pregnant…does that count?
Nik- Last summer we went camping. Now my type of camping is the usual-cooking over the campfire, making s’mores, fishing and hiking, etc…. However there is one thing that I do require: A cabin that has a/c! My husband likes to go camping in July when it is the hottest, so that’s my compromise! 🙂
Tonya- Oh Geez. It’s been 11 years since I went camping with 3 friends. It was not fun, at all. I would like to take the boys camping in the backyard. It’s just not possible with how allergic Michael is to bug bites. Hmmmm, I wonder if I can bug bomb my backyard. What great ideas I have.
