As a mom of two daughters, I adore frilly dresses. Shades of pinks and purples and tulle are definitely in the closets. Just because I love them, it doesn’t mean it’s all I, or the kids like. A group of friends and I were discussing recently how our daughters were asking for dresses, but in styles or themes that they enjoy. One of the girls adores dinosaurs, but her mom could only find pajamas with dinos, and they were in the boy section. Girls can like dinosaurs too. Luckily, a fellow mom had the same feelings and in 2013 created Princess Awesome. Princess Awesome was created for girls that love robots, dinosaurs, pirates and ninjas too!
The moms behind Princess Awesome started hand sewing each dress, but after realizing how popular their dresses were started having them produced. They wrote up a great proposal, and got on Kickstarter to fund a rapid growth. The campaign ended just a year ago and the Princess Awesome team has the highest performing childrenswear Kickstarter ever! Go moms 🙂
Princess Awesome is here to bridge the gap of what girls wear. They can wear glitter and pink AND a robot, all on the same dress. The Princess Awesome Line has dresses for big girls and babies alike. The babies dresses are made on a snapsuit onsie, and the girls in a fun tank style. And if you’re a little jealous that your daughters are stylin’ and profilin’, have no fear, Princess Awesome thought of you too. They offer headbands and infinity scarves to match the fun patterns from the girls’ dresses. I in fact will be matching my youngest with the Pi in the Sky scarf!

I love these clothes!!! My daughter loves wheels, playing with calculators, and looking at daddy’s engineering drawings (extras that he doesn’t need anymore), so these prints are perfect for her! I love “Shell Game” and Cars Busy Dress, but I want them all!!! I worked in a male-dominated job (Meat Inspector) before I became a stay-at-home mom, so I appreciate this! Thank you to this company for making these wonderful clothes for girls and thank you for hosting this giveaway!
