When I think of child safety, so many things run through my mind. I always think baby proofing a home, safety around water (bath and pool), away from heat, medicines and cleaners and so many more. Even after my third child, I still have the same worries about keeping my kiddos safe. One area that has changed and had some controversy is car seat safety. Forward facing, rear facing, boosters, expired seats, oh my! Another biggie with car seats is not wearing big or bulky coats while children are buckled in. I love that these have actually been tested in crash test for being worn in the car seat. I really dislike battling the on again off again coat debacle, especially when running errands. Problem is it’s not so easy to have them without a coat going to and from a car due to the cold.
