I truly love the summer months. More time outside, more sunlight for activities and hopefully some downtime thrown in there. We’re a fair skinned family, so we stock up on sunblock of all types; spray, lotion and the stick for faces. However, I’m always concerned it isn’t enough. And I guess I can’t keep the whole family in full scuba gear or long pants and sleeves all summer.

My kids are grateful that I found another option for them to wear outside, UV Skinz! This amazing company offers sun protective clothing for the whole family, in sizes ranging from 3 months all the way to 4XL. I love that this sun wear line can be worn comfortably all day, and keep my family safe at the same time.

Boys UV Skinz

The kids each received a full outfit, including sun hats. Both received vibrant swim shirts and shorts to match. The boys shorts are also trunks and can go from water to beach to everyday wear! UV Skinz offers both short and long sleeved shirts and shorts and pants that are also UPF protective. The first day we wore the outfits, we were headed to a local amusement park. I knew we would be outside all day, could potentially get wet and needed to be comfortable. These outfits went above and beyond on all accounts and I am happy to say, the kids stayed sun safe!

Girls UV Skinz

Although it’s summer now, and we’re more aware of the hot sun, keep in mind that you can still get burnt or get skin damage at any time of the year. I know I’m guilty of only worrying when we’re planning a long beach day or extended periods of time outside. UV Skins is also a company that wants to help educate everyone on the dangers of skin cancer and have the goal to make clothing so comfortable that people will want to live in the clothing that will help keep them safe!

This sounds like a really great idea especially with more people getting skin cancer. People don’t realize just how dangerous being out in the sun too long can be. I’m pale too, and this would really come in handy.

I am buying for my grandkids. They love swimming and being outdoors. Skin protection is so important, and I like the idea of clothing with it.

I love and want their women’s Hooded Beach cover up in teal or aqua. I think it would look great at the beach.

Thanks for the review. Babies really need to cover up. And also older people.
