Technology is our future. There are great products out there that help our children read, build vocabulary and strengthen their math skills. iPads, iPods, Leap pads, computers and so many more are great… to a point. Then there comes a time when you want your kids to just relax and unplug. Regal Games is a toy company, with German roots, who are invested in creating and carrying toys with “old world craftsmanship.”
We received a Whirl-O to play with and get to know. It’s a fun tin toy that spins and launches a top Not only did my children have fun spinning the Whirl-O and watching the colors spin, but hubby had a great time trying to create tricks. The first night we played with it, all electronics were off and we focuses on how to get the top spinning, launched and picked back up. We had a great time laughing, playing and competing. No one noticed there weren’t screens on and glowing, YouTube videos blaring or random TV shows on. It was a great family evening.
Regal Games is bringing back the Whirl-O and it’s highlighted on Kickstarter. They are offering some great packages if you back them. See it in action and help choose the look of the packaging from the Kickstarter page. I highly suggest checking this company out by helping them bring back a classic toy and enjoying an electronic free family activity for you.
