We have a stocking called the Jesus Stocking. Anytime we see someone in the family doing a good deed for someone else, we write it down. We read all of the good deeds on Christmas morning. It helps us to focus on giving instead of receiving.

One tradition we have is to have the adults open their presents Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas Day we let the kids open all their presents. This way we get to see them open the gifts and help if needed 😉

For Thanksgiving, we go to my Mamaw’s. But for Christmas we have all kinds of traditions, baking cookies, going to see lights, etc. I’d like to start a new one, and take the kids ice skating.
