I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Reebok. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Going into Kohl’s to get these Skyscape I was a little intimidated trying them on. Foam? How could I wear a shoe made out of foam? As I’m thinking about the foam hands you see at Basketball games. Walking up to the shoes they looked ‘normal’. I picked them up and they weighed nothing! Five ounces. I thought for sure I was going to rip it in half! Surprisingly this light-weight shoe felt durable and most importantly, comfortable. I shouldn’t have been surprised since the they are made from the same manufacturing techniques as foam bras, which we wear all day!
In store they only sell black and pink. I really wanted the pink however they didn’t have my size so I had to get the black. Trying them on I noticed immediately that they run small. Now I’m only five foot tall and wear a size 8 or 8.5 but in sizes that run small I’ll get a 9. I did wish they had other colors in store but unfortunately you can only purchase those online.
I’m pregnant and get hot a lot…even in cold weather. I thought these shoes would be lightweight and comfy when I go on my walks for some exercise. They are a nice alternative to a bulky running shoe and also make my legs look great! (Really, some days I need all the help I can get) I’ve worn these everywhere all day long and they never hurt my feet breaking them in. I’ve run errands, taken the kids to the park, kicked a soccer ball…you name it. I’ve also worn these with my favorite black sweat pants then a skirt the next day. Usually sockless as you see above. If you can’t tell the shoe’s sole resembles cloud-like pillows according to Reebok and I must say they do feel fluffy!
Reebok Skyscape features include:
· Foam material in the upper for softness and flexibility
· Low-cut design for added mobility
· Seamless construction for minimized rub and irritation
· Unique architecture designed to support the foot and provide all-day comfort
· Minimal rubber accents only where needed for traction
· Skyspring technology – features a unique design architecture designed to help support
Overall I was quite happy with these shoes. The way they made my feet feel after wearing them for a day was a relief to this pregnant mom of two. Chasing after the kids is sometimes no fun to begin with and these days every body part gets exhausted easily!
Have fun shopping for your new Reebok Skyscapes and let me know what color you chose!
