My four year old daughter is very picky about her clothes. From the way the material feels to how it fits and sometimes the color and style. We were asked to review an outfit from Fabkids, a monthly subscription site where you give your child’s age, gender and dress style then they choose outfits based on your answers. What a fun way to shop!
We chose the #12 Shine outfit. It’s a bright green sleeveless top with a drop waist, bright, floral #12 on the chest, gold sequin shoulders and a pair of navy leggings. My daughter is about 39 in tall and 32-35lbs, I ordered a small which is a 4-5. The leggings fit great but the top was a bit long and baggy. The leggings are lightweight to wear in the spring and summer and the top is a soft, sturdy fabric. I only noticed a slight flaw where mixed into the green thread was a pink thread. Otherwise it was well made.
My daughter wore the outfit all day and loved it! She never complained of being itchy or uncomfortable and actually didn’t want to take the top off at night. It was a fun, bright outfit with a bit of tomboy twist, just her style. I do wish we would have gotten a cute accessory with the outfit.
I think it’s a fun way to add a new outfit monthly to your son or daughter’s wardrobe that you may not otherwise go out and purchase. Seeing how much my daughter enjoyed it we will be buying more outfits in the future. Fab Kids is 29.95 a month and you can do an outfit every month or skip months depending on your needs.
