Yes I would keep it for myself. I would LOVE this vacuum. I have a very dust prone house with 2 pets. I could use all of the help I can get and my old vacuum is on its last leg. This one looks perfect and looks as if it would stand the test of hair, dust and time with my family.

I like the fact that it is easy to adjust the height. I would keep the vacuum for myself, because the hose on mine is busted and duct taped out. lol. I would donate my old one to a local shelter.
I would definitely keep it. We have one level that is all tile and the other two are both all carpet. With pets and kids, the attachments and being able to vacuum the tiled floor that has rugs down would be great! We have a Kirby and it is so heavy, and inconvenient to switch to hand tools. We want a better vacuum.
