Do you wish that you could cleanse your skin deeper and faster in the morning and at night? With Mary Kay’s Skinvigorate facial cleansing brush you can do just that! Instead of using your hands to cleanse your face this brush will cleanse your skin so much deeper than your hands will. I have always just used my hands and a washcloth to care for my face however after receiving this to review I have refused to go back to cleansing my face the hard way. Pretty much all of my make up and facial care is from Mary Kay as it is pretty much the preferred product in my bathroom. I also received a bottle of Mary Kay’s Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser. You can always speak with Barbie Turner who is an excellent Mary Kay Consultant, to see what your skin type is and what type of skin regimen you should be on.
The brush comes with batteries that are very easy to install. Simply pull off the bottom piece of the brush and insert then close it back up again. There are two types of brushes that you can attach. One is for sensitive skin which is softer and also the one that I prefer to use. The other one is for non-sensitive skin. If I so much as hug my husband and he has a little stubble you can guarantee my face will break out with red splotches, that’s how sensitive my skin is. So of course I was a little worried that this brush would make me break out. If I run the brush too long over my cheeks or chin I do get some red splotches but my skin is cleansed and the red marks go away after a while. I’ve learned not to go over those spots for too long.
This is very easy to start. The bottom button starts it and the top button will make it go faster or slower. I usually just turn it on and go with the flow. I also make sure I put some water over my face first and then on the brush as well to help with my sensitive skin. After I water the brush down I place just a little bit of my 3-in-1 cleanser over the bristles and turn the brush on. While the brush is on I gently apply it to my skin and run it over each spot of skin. I’m careful not to go for too long over my cheeks or my chin. The first time I used this brush on my skin I was amazed at how clean my skin really felt. I tried applying the cleanser to some of my skin without the brush and then with the brush to see the difference and there is a HUGE difference!
This is me before I used the brush.
Picture to the left is while the brush is in use. It glides nicely over the skin and will definitely make your skin feel much fresher and deeply cleansed compared to just using your hands to rub the cleanser in. The picture to the right is after I used the brush and washed the cleanser off. My skin feels rejuvenated! Very well cleansed and well taken care of. Always be sure to put moisturizer on after you use the cleanser. Mary Kay has an awesome line of skin care products that go very well with this brush and the 3-in-1 Cleanser.
Finish up the look with some Mary Kay eye liner and mascara with or without glasses. I couldn’t decide between either or so you get both! The cleanser has helped my skin so much and now that I have the brush to help apply it my skin has been pampered over and over again every time I use it.
Never leave home without using the Skinvigorate brush on your face, which you can purchase for $50 and the appropriate 3-in-1 cleanser for $20. If you’re not sure what kind of 3-in-1 cleanser you may need simply contact Barbie Turner. She can help you with any skin care questions you may have. Get in a proper skin regimen and take care of your delicate skin!
