Little Green Pouchlogo1Little Green Pouch offers an easy solution to get your children to eat healthier baby food. They carry all the products to assist you in packaging and serving your own made baby food. Some of their products include reusable food pouches, funnels, cleaning brushes and starter/accessory kits.

I received the large Little Green Pouch Starter Kit and I could not wait to use the products. My two youngest children, ages twelve months and three years old, still eat from store bought food pouches. I love the convenience of them and the fact that it is a sure way to get my older daughter to eat vegetables. I don’t, however, love the cost of those pouches. The kit I received has all the items I need to make my own baby food or I can easily add jars of baby food (which cost so much cheaper) in the pouches.

What’s included in the Little Green Pouch Starter Kit?

  • Four pack of reusable food pouches
  • Swiveling bottle brush
  • Silicone funnel
  • Sixty dissolvable labels
  • Four pouches
  • Four pack of extra caps

Little Green Pouch

I have a huge amount of jarred baby food since I am always stocking up when I find a good sale so I used those to try out my new products. The included funnel makes it super easy to add the food to the pouch (I am pretty sure I would have made a mess otherwise).  The pouches are made of durable, BPA-free, PVC and phthalate-free plastic and I absolutely love that they are dishwasher safe (top rack). My twelve month old is at the stage where she wants to grab the spoon and make a mess while we are eating so the pouches are great for her since she can feed herself without making a mess. These are also so great for on the go. My daughter is teething at the moment and the silicone spout extenders were incredible. They gave her sore gums some much needed relief.

The clean up for these pouches is very easy. I rinsed them in the sink and used the included bottle brush to make sure there wasn’t any food stuck in the pouch and then just threw it in the dishwasher. The kit also includes four extra caps which will come in handy. The Dissolvable Content & Date Labels are good for adding to the pouch if you plan to store and/or freeze them so you can know what is in the pouch and, more importantly, the date you made the food.

I have gotten a lot of use of this kit. I will also be purchasing another set or two of the four pack of pouches. This kit is really a must have and would make such a great baby shower gift! You can purchase your own large Little Green Pouch Starter Kit for $45 on their website.

I like the pouch pop – the silicone spout extenders for a softer opening for baby.

I like the Roll of 60 Dissolvable Content & Date Labels (http://www.littlegreenpouch.com/collections/shop-online/products/dissolvable-content-date-labels). I love that they dissolve! No sticky residue to deal with!
