Have you ever gone into a dark alleyway or a dark empty parking lot and worried for your own safety? I know I have! Now you can have an alert right at your fingertips so you can have everyone in your contacts including any emergency contacts including the Police contacted with one touch of a button. When I lived in a big city for College there were many times I would have to walk into a barely lit parking lot to get to my car after class. I had only lived there for a few months before the robberies and assaults started happening at the Campus. They were mostly girls that would go to their vehicle alone. It even happened in the same parking lot area that I always parked in. I wish I had this app on my cell phone back then! I would have felt much safer.
The app is not glorified by any means. It’s very simple and easy to use. Simply download it and open the app before you leave wherever you are going and it will pop up a shield shape that you can press immediately if anything happens. Even if you have an allergic reaction, cut yourself on accident or fall down the stairs. This is useful for everything really!
Below are the steps you will take when you first download React Mobile.
As simple as one, two, three. You can press the button to immediately notify any relatives, friends or even coworkers and it will also send an alert to the police. I have not tried pressing it yet as I haven’t had anything bad happen (thankfully!) but I know if I need to use it I can. Another pretty cool feature is that you can text an alert to everything. Simply type out everything including your address and hit the send button. If you have time to type it in such as having an allergic reaction or even falling down the stairs. If you’re able to type a message, then you should. People will know what the problem is and will come to your aid.
Another awesome thing about this is that it will locate and track your phone. If something happens to you then your phone is automatically tracked. All you have to do is press the Follow Me button on the map section and you can let your contacts know that you’re safe once you’ve arrived at your destination. I will be using this every time I travel up to class or anywhere outside of the house so my husband knows I’m safe. Nothing wrong with that!
