Walk In Style With White Mountain Shoes – Holiday Gift Guide 2013

whitemountainshoesI’m obsessed with shoes. I’m also very picky about what shoes I choose to wear and with what outfit for the day. Every woman needs a closet full of shoes to choose from! White Mountain Shoes has quite the stylish looking shoes that also have comfort in the interior. They might look uncomfortable with a high heel but they most definitely aren’t! I received their Special Dark Charcoal Bootie to review and I love them! I have worn them with dress pants and a dress. So far they look amazing with both but I have not tried them with jeans. I’m not that fashion forward sadly.

bootsI do not have the most slender legs in this world and as these boots are supposed to slim my legs it looks like they did! They’re comfortable on the inside and if you aren’t used to walking in heels these might be a little too high for someone starting out. However, I must stress that they are comfy! I had a hard time at first making sure they stayed tied but I noticed I wasn’t tying them as tight as they should have been. My ankle was moving around a lot and the boot around my ankle was also very loose. After tying them tighter than normal I didn’t have that problem. The outside feels like a soft suede. I have not gotten these wet and I don’t intend to! As far as sizing goes these are my normal size that I wear. They’re true to size so you don’t have to worry about whether they will fit or not when they arrive on your doorstep.

You can even get these gorgeous boots in either Dust, Black or Navy coloring. I chose their Dark Charcoal and I must say they’re not that dark in person. The very top photo of this review is the true color of these boots. The photos of me standing outside with pants on is not their true color. For some odd reason these boots seem to take on a chameleon style and tint towards what color your outfit is. This was very interesting to me. So if you are struggling to find a color in these that work for you, simply choose the charcoal color. Black works well also but the other ones are just as pretty!
