winecoolerDo you like to drink wine? You need a wine cooler! We had wine in our house every once in a while but once we got this wine cooler from Nostalgia Electrics we have an obligation to keep it full! Quite often I drink my wine with ice in the cup but they were always in the way. Now I can have a glass of cool wine without having to worry about the obstacles. If you want a nice upscale looking wine cooler look to Nostalgia Electrics. They sell many other unique items that you can have fun with geared towards those who are younger and older respectively. Careful though, having this wine cooler in your house you might just have the same obligated feeling to make sure it has a bottle or two (or more!) in it at all times!

coolerYou can set the temperate yourself. Ours is set at 51 degrees and that’s perfect. The bottles are nice and cold to the touch and they don’t clank together too much when you pull them out. The metal grated trays they sit on can slide out if you have the door all the way open so you can pick your wine without pulling one out at a time. The blue light makes the cooler look high tech as well. You can also choose to leave the blue light on or turn it off. I prefer to have mine on all the time but for some reason I sometimes find it’s been turned off on me. Odd. Some awesome features of this wine cooler are listed below.

  • Auto-defrost, adjustable thermostat cools within ambient room temperature.
  • No compressor, no vibration: low noise and bottle-sediment is not disturbed.
  • Eco-friendly, no refrigerant needed.
  • Adjustable level foot.

Each fact above is true. The thermostat does not go below 51 degrees and it does not make loud noises. Actually, I can barely hear it when I’m in the kitchen. It has a much lower noise than anything else in the room. It’s even sitting on our table where we eat dinner and it does not vibrate. My wine has tasted just fine every time I open the bottle and it is adjustable. I’m also excited that it’s eco-friendly. I wish there more eco-friendly products out there!
