Kids Get Comfy With Hearthsong – Holiday Gift Guide 2013

We love having picnics with our kids. We’ll usually make some finger food, usually pizza, spread out a blanket, and watch a movie whenever we can. Since it’s cold outside we do this more often than in the summer. We’ll turn on the fire afterwards and those cuddles while we’re watching the movie are so precious. My husband was looking on the Hearthsong website and decided we needed a nice big mat to have our family picnics on.

We received this Jumbo Monkey Mat from Hearthsong and it is so cute. The kids love reading books and playing on it too. My son has even built a few forts up in his room. The head is not attached so it makes a cute pillow and you can use the mat as a blanket. The paws and tail are attached to the mat. The mat is Mat 71″L x 53″W and you can see it’s big enough to fit my husband and daughter. She loves lounging on the pillow and genuinely playing on the mat or reading her books.

This jumbo stuffed monkey mat can be machine washed and can stay on the floor as a permanent decoration or be folded between uses. I have washed the mat since our dog laid on it a few times and it came out good as new. I did hang it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer.
