Water Filled Baby Dolls For Unique Playtime With Waterbabies – Holiday Gift Guide 2013

Does your child like to play house? They would love Waterbabies! These baby dolls wiggle and feel like a real baby when you fill them with water per directions. Such a cute way to allow your child play mom around the house. They are not only perfect for presents but they are excellent for any occasion! My daughter was so excited to receive these to play with (and help me with the review of course!). My husband filled the larger doll with lukewarm water and it didn’t seem as though it took that long. It did squeak while he squeezed it to let more water in every few seconds. The water stays in with a plug in the back and doesn’t leak anywhere. If you need to empty the doll for any reason you can unplug and drain it.

The baby pictured above is the Giggly Wiggly Waterbabies doll. They each come with their individual easy to fill funnels which are unique to the doll themselves. Simply pour water in and squeeze the doll every few seconds to let more water in and get the bubbles out. This process only took a couple minutes and my husband had her plugged up ready for our daughter to play with her. I held the doll after my daughter played with it and it really does feel like a wiggly baby. Her body shakes back and forth when you move her just a little and she even sucks on her own bottle. The pacifier was a little difficult to keep in the mouth but it reminded me of my child when she was an infant. She refused the pacifier!

The Dream to Be Soccer Doll is absolutely adorable! Again, very easy to fill with water and just as much fun without the water inside. The clothes are cute and the headband matches the outfit. My daughter was you can see in the above photo was actually singing lullabies to the doll. At first she didn’t want me to take her picture but I managed to get her in the motion of rocking the baby back and forth. This one is just like the Wiggly Giggly doll but smaller and super cute! Waterbabies has a nice selection for Dream To Be dolls. These are worth just a simple trip to the store to spoil your child with!

Last (but not least because it’s too stinkin’ cute!) is the Wee Waterbaby Wee Bubbles. This baby is the perfect size for any toddler. There are multiple to choose from and each one is unique. These are pre filled so you don’t have to worry about filling them with water. It also does not come with its own funnel. However you can tell there is water in it which gives a tad bit of weight to the body. My daughter sleeps in bed with this one as well as the other two but this one is perfect for that. The little blue diaper has disappeared because my child insists on the baby being naked. A toddler phase I guess? Either way, I love this little doll. It’s also perfect if you are looking for a small doll to pick up as a present.
